Heart disease has a multi-factorial etiology, but unhealthy lifestyle is the major factor that makes a person become vulnerable to heart disease. Smoking, diabetes, high-cholesterol food, stress, lack of movement and exercise, and lack of rest are a number of factors that can trigger heart attack. Having said that, there are several factors that can not be changed, such as age and heredity.
