Port Medical Centre, or sometimes known as RS Port Medical Centre, is a general hospital that is located on Tanjung Priok, Jakarta, within the Province of Jakarta Special Capital Region. RS Port Medical Centre was originally a trauma clinic, a satellite clinic of RS Pelabuhan Jakarta. But before the clinic begun operations, from the results of the shareholders meeting, a change of plans were implemented - instead of being a satellite clinic of RS Pelabuhan Jakarta, Port Medical Centre became a hospital. With a location adjacent to the Port of Tanjung Priok, the existance of RS Port Medical Centre became a fulfillment of IMO (International Maritime Organisation) requirements for the Port of Tanjung Priok to become a world class port. With its central location and excellent service, RS Port Medical Centre quickly gain recognition by the neighbourhood, so that the hospital became the people's option to get medical treatments.
