Burn off your fat with aquarobic

Tired of going to the gym? There are many ways you can do to keep your body fit, one of which is to do aquarobic. As the name implies, this is an exercise done in the water. Aquarobic can be a good choice for you during the summer. Besides the fact that it is refreshing, aquarobic is also good for the body.

Just like other exercises, aquarobic can help increase strength, endurance, and body flexibility. Because it is done in water, of course, our body will feel lighter. Therefore, the exercise is better suited for older people. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), this exercise is very helpful for those who have joint problems, such as osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.

You can do various exercises in the water. Starting from walking casually, lifting weights, to doing squat or leg kicks. Besides being able to improve fitness, this activity can also help you burn fat in the body, even faster than doing it on the land. For those of you who want the ideal body weight, of course aquarobic can be an option.

As quoted from Everyday Health, here are some tips for those of you who will do aquarobic:

  1. The water should not be higher than the waist, so that your feet can stand well and leg muscles can support some of your body weight.
  2. Use water shoes and special gloves.
  3. Drink plenty of water during and after activities.
