Five teas to help relieve nausea

Nausea is a common problem that can be caused by various conditions. Nausea occurs when you feel like vomiting or discomfort in the abdomen. These symptoms are often experienced early in pregnancy. Some types of treatment, such as chemotherapy or surgery, can also cause nausea. Since a long time ago, drinking a cup of warm tea has been believed to help treat nausea. As quoted from Healthline, here are 5 of the best tea to help relieve nausea.

  1. Ginger tea
    It has been believed for thousands of years that this herbal tea made from ginger root can help relieve nausea, and some studies also support this statement. To make it, just boil grated ginger for 10-20 minutes. You can also add honey or lemon juice to it.
  2. Chamomile tea
    Derived from flowers that have a distinctive taste, chamomile tea is known to help relax the muscles of the digestive system and overcome nausea, vomiting and digestive disorders. Some studies show that chamomile tea is more effective in dealing with symptoms of nausea and vomiting during pregnancy compared to ginger tea.
