  • Accelerate wound healing. Blueberries can help speed up healing process, thanks to the vitamins and antioxidants in it. Vitamins C and K are two important nutrients that play a role in this process. In addition, the injured skin will experience inflammation and oxidative stress, which indicates the presence of free radicals. High intake of antioxidants can help overcome them.
  • Reducing inflammation related to acne. Acne occurs when the skin becomes inflamed due to clogged pores. Naturally, the high antioxidant and fibre content in blueberries can help relieve inflammation and reduce acne-related swelling.
  • Improving intestinal health. Many studies show that intestinal health is related to skin health. An imbalance of bacteria in the intestines can increase the risk of acne, eczema, and premature ageing. Fibre-rich food such as blueberries can reduce this risk.
