The human body consists of about 60% water. Because of that, it’s no wonder that we are strongly encouraged to drink enough water every day to keep your body well hydrated. Unlike the popular recommendation of 8 glasses per day, according to a recommendation issued by The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, women need at least 2.7 liters of water and 3.7 liters of water for men, per day.
