- High Level of Fat
Food that contains a lot of cheese, such as cheese pizza, tend to have a high level of saturated fat. It is clearly not healthy for the body. In America, two thirds of the daily fat intake comes from cheese.
- High Level of Salt
Most cheese contain a high level of sodium, or in other words, salt. Too much salt is bad for your heart health. Having said that, there are a couple of cheese variety with a low content of salt, but not many.
- Too Many Calories
Cheese has a high amount of calories, which are difficult to be processed even when you have been exercising. To eliminate the calories, you must exercise at least two times longer, or harder.
- Unhealthy Production Process
In the production process of the cheese, it is not that uncommon for producers to use unhealthy methods. For instance, cows are given hormones to produce more milk. This causes the milk and cheese to contain those hormones as well.
- High Cholesterol
Consuming cheese can increase the cholesterol level in your body. High level of cholesterol may lead to numerous diseases. If your body is prone to high level of cholesterol, it is best not to consume cheese.
