Rumah Sakit Atma Jaya, or sometimes known as RS Atma Jaya, is a teaching hospital that is located on Penjaringan, Jakarta, within the Province of Jakarta Special Capital Region. RS Atma Jaya started operations in 1976 as clinical education for doctors. Before the building is finished, most of the clinical education were done in Rumah Sakit St. Carolus, helped with Rumah Sakit Gatot Subroto and Puskesmas Melani to name a few. Starting on the academical year of 1991-92, Universitas Katolik Indonesia Atma Jaya Medical School is fully operating in Pluit Campus, located very closely to RS Atma Jaya. Universitas Katolik Indonesia Atma Jaya graduated their first doctors in 1976 and has graduated more than 2000 doctors until now. (Source: Web)
